Your skin is a living organ made up of millions of cells. Everyday thousands of cells die fall off and are replaced by new cells from below.

Unfortunately, as we age, this becomes a slower and more haphazard process, making your skin unable to shed dark blotches, sun damage, or a dull, lifeless complexion.

The function of a skin chemical peel is to create an even controlled shedding of several layers of damaged cells. This exposes a new fresh layer of skin with a more even color and a smoother texture. In addition, the peel stimulates new cells to grow, thereby tightening the skin, which decreases wrinkling.

Using chemical exfoliants such as glycolic, salicylic and trichloroacetic acid, we are able to remove sun-damaged skin and stimulate its healthy re-growth in a controlled fashion. The resulting exfoliation removes dead cell layers, promotes underlying collagen regeneration to reduce fine lines, and evens out the texture and pigment of one’s skin. Lunch time peels – sends you right back to work or play-70% glycolic acid or 5% salicylic acid. Can be done at 3-6 week intervals to give you that glow, unclog your pores, and control those breakouts. . TCA body and facial peels -This powerful exfoliant, used at lower concentrations, causes just a few days of subtle redness and peeling. 1-2 treatments can really change the quality and coloring of your skin. Great for significantly sun-damaged and spotted arms, chests, and neck.

Medium depth Peels - A peel combining higher concentrations of a few agents including TCA, salicylic and acetic acid can, in one treatment, make a dramatic effect in the removal of dark spots and fine lines. This peel gives the appearance of a sunburn in which redness and peeling of 1 week reveals an entire new set of healthy younger skin. We perform different strengths (20-35%) chemical TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) at our medical facility. TCA is a non-toxic chemical which has been used to perform skin peels for over 30 years. TCA peels have the advantage of creating a fresh natural appearing complexion, while preserving the normal skin color. For this reason, they are often referred to as “freshening peels”.

TCA peels can effectively improve many conditions, including:
