Tatiana Khrom, M.D.
is a Board-Certified Dermatologist Specializing in Mohs Micrographic
Surgery and Laser Surgery
Dr. Khrom is one of very few board-certified,
fellowship-trained dermatologists in the Brooklyn area, specializing
in all aspects of surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Born in Ukraine,
Dr. Khrom came to the United States with her family in 1988, and
completed her undergraduate studies at New York University with a
double major in Biochemistry and Philosophy. She graduated Summa
Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa and finished her medical school training
at the SUNY Downstate School of Medicine at the top of her class.
She is also a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society for
her academic merits.
Dr. Khrom completed her year of Internal Medicine
at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and later completed her
residency in Dermatology at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where
she developed a special interest in skin cancer treatment and laser
surgery. Following her residency, she became one of the first nine
fellows in Procedural Dermatology, a new fellowship approved by
the committee for Graduate Medical Education of the United States,
receiving extensive training in Mohs micrographic surgery, facial
reconstruction, laser surgery, and various cosmetic surgical procedures.
Dr. Khrom is an attending physician at the Brooklyn
Veterans Affairs Medical center, where she teaches residents the
basics of Mohs Micrographic surgery, varicose vein treatments, and
laser surgery. She has presented nationally and is a published author
of multiple textbook chapters and research articles on various topics
in cosmetic dermatology and skin cancer surgery. She is certified
by the American Board of Dermatology and is an active member of the
American Academy of Dermatology and American Society for Dermatologic
Surgery. Dr. Khrom is strongly committed to the care of her patients
and the treatment of skin cancer.

Gina Taylor, M.D.
Gina A. Taylor M.D is a Board-Certified Dermatologist as well as a Board-Certified Dermatopathologist.
She has a special interest in medical dermatology with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic skin conditions such as acne vulgaris and psoriasis.
Dr. Taylor was born in Kingston , Jamaica and after completing high school there, she came to the USA to do undergraduate studies at the Johns Hopkins University , Baltimore , Maryland. There, she was on the Dean’s List and graduated from this institution with a major in Biology and minor in Psychology. Thereafter, she attended the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine , in Philadelphia , from which she graduated as Doctor of Medicine.
She showed an early interest and exceptional ability in Dermatology and was awarded with the final year prize in Dermatology for her graduating class – the Nancy C. Bell, M.D. Memorial Prize. While in medical school, she did a Graduate Research Fellowship in the Department of Dermatology, at the end of which she published a much-quoted article on hair follicle stem cells, in the prestigious scientific journal, “CELL”. She completed one year’s medical internship at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and the Presbyterian Medical Center , Philadelphia . She subsequently completed the Residency program in Dermatology at State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center and became Board-Certified in Dermatology. She served as Fellow of Dermatopathology at a joint program between State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn and the most respected Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology in New York , New York . This ended in her becoming Board-Certified in Dermatopathology.
Dr. Taylor is the author of several peer-reviewed publications and chapters in Dermatology text books. She has been a moving force in the Dermatology residency program at Downstate Medical Center where she serves as Clinical Assistant Professor/Attending Dermatologist and Attending Dermatopathologist. She also serves at Kings County Hospital Center as Attending Dermatologist and Director of Dermatology Service and At-Large Representative to the Medical Board. She has twice been honored by her peers and students in recognition of her outstanding service and dedication. Nana Kanzaveli, RPA-C
Nana kanzaveli was an undegreaduate student at the pre-medical program at NYU. She graduated in 2000 with a BA in psychology.
Upon completion of the undergraduate program, she proceeded on to a Physician Assistant program at LIU, from which she graduated with a Bachelor in Science degree.
Since then, Nana has been specializing in the field of Dermatology, diagnosing and treating conditions including but not limited to: pediactric exanthems, adolescent acne, allergic, immunodeficient dermatoses and cancerous conditions of the skin.
